The role of the office of professional medical conduct (OPMC) is reviewed in light of its history and several recent disciplinary actions taken against New York State physicians practicing Homeopathy and other complementary and alternative Medicine (CAM) modalities. The author's personal experiences with the OPMC are also reviewed and recommendations made. |
