Family of strychnine and its relatives

Abstract

This study is done based upon the action of strychnine and the alkaloids which have similar effect on nervous system especially titanic spasms and convulsions. Their practical utility with relative comparison has been described on the basis of physiological action. Signs and symptoms appears during proving and poisoning as well as clinical observations.
