A Clinical Study To Find Out The Efficacy of Homoeopathic Medicines In Behavioral Disorders

Abstract

A clinical study was undertaken by Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy to find out the efficacy of Homoeopathic drugs in Behavioral Disorders. The case of 10 Behavioral Disorders with clinical symptoms specified as per ICD-9 classification of Mental Diseases were studied. These cases were treated with indicated Homoeopathic medicines. The improvement was assessed as per pre – defined criteria. And it relieve the symptoms of these 10 Behavioral Disorders ranging from mild to marked improvement out of the total Senile and pre-senile organic psychotic condition, Alcoholic Psychosis, Drug Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Affective Psychosis, Paranoid Disorder, Psychosis with origin specific to childhood, Neurotic disorder, Personality disorder and Psychosomatic disorder cases were treated according to homoeopathic principles by timely indicated drugs and were improved showing the efficacy of Homoeopathic Drug.
