dc.description.abstractThe present study was undertaken with an objective to verify the symptoms available in the literature to elaborate the drug picture and to explore the full potential of a lesser known and partially proved drug – Amygdalus persica. The study includes prescription of Amygdalus persica made on 341 patients during the period from April 1996 to March 2004. This study confirms that symptoms available in the literature are reliable inications of the drug. A number of clinical symptoms have also been observed during the trial to be relieved in patients and those symptoms have been mentioned as new symptoms of the drug.en_US
