Homeopathic medicine (and various flower remedies) provide a very valuable alternative approach or complementary addition to the management of terminal (hospice) patients, in many cases providing mental sensorium sparing relief of pain and suffering, both physical and mental, unavailable with orthodox care. Additionally, patients' family members can similarly benefit from such care. Several case histories illustrating the efficacy of homeopathic medicine in this setting are provided, as well as brief material medica descriptions of a few useful homeopathic medicines.en_US
